We carry on with successful events! Our Solar Eclipse Viewing Party brought nearly 500 visitors to the library campus, including the 3rd and 4th graders from McKenney-Harrison Elementary School. Thank you to everyone who stopped out to view this amazing event with us!

“Eckhart Public Library will remain strong and carry on, regardless of space or circumstance, to serve our community’s evolving needs as we move forward to enter a new chapter of service.”

Main Library Restoration Update

During the restoration of the Main Library, we will be renting a temporary location! This location will be at the former Legacy Hallmark at 1029 W. 7th St. in the Auburn Plaza, and plans of what will be there include a browsable collection of items from each library department, and likely some programs, though it has not been decided what programs will take place here. The Willennar Genealogy Center and the Eckhart Teen Library will remain open – this is simply in addition to these locations. The temporary location will open in October, and we’ll bring your more updates on this as we move forward!
