Looking for a Writing Group?

Did you know Eckhart Public Library has a Creative Writing Group?

Creative Writing Group meets at the main library the first and third Wednesday of every month from 6:30 – 8:00 pm. All writers 18 and over, no matter what genre they write, are encouraged to attend. Group members share their writing and participate in writing exercises.

Creative Writing Group also sponsors special events like the two coming up in March and April.

Wednesday March 15, at 6 pm

Publishing Workshop

Local published authors Barbara Olenyik Morrow and Judy Walker will be at Eckhart Public Library to talk about their publishing journeys. Anyone interested in publishing, whether it’s traditional, e-publishing, or self-publishing should attend.

Wednesday, April 5, at 6:30 pm

Poetry Reading

Creative Writing Group is holding an open poetry reading to celebrate National Poetry Month. Adults who write poetry are invited to attend and read their work or listen to others’ work. Coffee and treats will be served.
