This Week at Eckhart Public Library – January 16-21, 2017

EPL winter

The library will be closed two days during the week of January 16 – once for a holiday, and once for a staff development day.

All library campus buildings will be closed on Monday, January 16, in observance of Martin Luther King Day.

Campus buildings also will be closed on Thursday, January 19, for a staff development day. Library staff will receive training on customer service and communication from Kelly Krieg-Sigman, director of the LaCrosse Public Library. The training aligns with goals and strategies within the library’s strategic plan, including providing a welcoming library campus and improving customer service. Krieg-Sigman has been a library manager for more than 30 years, and presents frequently on library management issues at libraries and conferences.

About Jenny

I am the Associate Director of Eckhart Public Library. My office is in the Administrative Annex, but I can often be found roaming the Eckhart Public Library Campus, performing acts of librarianship in every department! I love to read and learn about history. I'm also a huge fan of movies, TV and pop culture in general, and I love to read books of all types. Currently, I'm working my way around the romance section, with some historical fiction and graphic novels thrown in for variety! But you never know what I'm going to pick up next.
