Our annual Eckhart Winter Read doesn’t begin until January 3, but you can start reading for prizes and chances to win grand prizes beginning Tuesday, December 27!

No matter your age, you can pick up prizes beginning on Tuesday, January 3, 2017, but all reading completed beginning on Tuesday, December 27, counts toward earning prizes. Tally sheets are available in all departments.

You are able to earn prizes and chances to win grand prizes by reading anything checked out from the library, including fiction, nonfiction, graphic novels, manga, audiobooks, magazines, e-books, and e-audiobooks. You can also earn prizes by researching at the Willennar Genealogy Center.

About Jenny

I am the Associate Director of Eckhart Public Library. My office is in the Administrative Annex, but I can often be found roaming the Eckhart Public Library Campus, performing acts of librarianship in every department! I love to read and learn about history. I'm also a huge fan of movies, TV and pop culture in general, and I love to read books of all types. Currently, I'm working my way around the romance section, with some historical fiction and graphic novels thrown in for variety! But you never know what I'm going to pick up next.
