Piece of Pumpkin Pie

It’s Thanksgiving week! The library will have special hours around the holiday.

All Eckhart Public Library campus buildings will close at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, November 23. The library will be closed Thursday, November 24, through Sunday, November 27, and will reopen on Monday, November 28, with regular hours.

The Teen Library will be open from noon to 5 p.m. on Wednesday, November 23, because DeKalb Central schools are not in session that day.

  • Auburn Christmas Parade: Eckhart Public Library will be participating in the Auburn Christmas Parade! To participate, stop by the Children’s Department or call 925-2414 ext. 320. Tuesday, November 22, 7 p.m., Downtown Auburn.

About Jenny

I am the Associate Director of Eckhart Public Library. My office is in the Administrative Annex, but I can often be found roaming the Eckhart Public Library Campus, performing acts of librarianship in every department! I love to read and learn about history. I'm also a huge fan of movies, TV and pop culture in general, and I love to read books of all types. Currently, I'm working my way around the romance section, with some historical fiction and graphic novels thrown in for variety! But you never know what I'm going to pick up next.
