We’re back! Our maintenance closing is over, and we’re back to the library and ready for an exciting October!

On Saturday, BSR Paranormal will be at the library at 2 p.m. to talk about paranormal research. They’ll stay after the library closes and demonstrate their equipment by hunting for ghosts at the Teen Library. Join us – if you dare!

Also, don’t forget that Monday, October 10, is Columbus Day, and the library will be closed for the holiday. All library campus buildings will reopen with regular hours on Tuesday, October 11; the Teen Library will open at noon October 11-15 because of DeKalb Central’s fall break.

Here’s everything that’s happening this week at the library:

About Jenny

I am the Associate Director of Eckhart Public Library. My office is in the Administrative Annex, but I can often be found roaming the Eckhart Public Library Campus, performing acts of librarianship in every department! I love to read and learn about history. I'm also a huge fan of movies, TV and pop culture in general, and I love to read books of all types. Currently, I'm working my way around the romance section, with some historical fiction and graphic novels thrown in for variety! But you never know what I'm going to pick up next.
