This Week at Eckhart Public Library: August 1-6, 2016

eckhart and evergreen team up

Eckhart Public Library will be member of Evergreen Indiana when we reopen on Monday, August 1, at 1 p.m.!

Evergreen Indiana is a statewide library circulation system. Joining EI gives Eckhart Public Library patrons access to approximately 110 other library systems across the state and the nearly 7 million items that they own. Beginning at 1 p.m. on Monday, August 1, you can get your new Evergreen Indiana card. Bring a photo ID with a current address; if your photo ID does not have the correct address, bring an additional form of identification with your current address.

The library will have extra staff members on hand during the first week of the Evergreen Indiana transition in order to ensure a timely re-registration.

The library will be closed Friday, July 29, and Saturday, July 30, to prepare for the transition to Evergreen Indiana.

About Jenny

I am the Associate Director of Eckhart Public Library. My office is in the Administrative Annex, but I can often be found roaming the Eckhart Public Library Campus, performing acts of librarianship in every department! I love to read and learn about history. I'm also a huge fan of movies, TV and pop culture in general, and I love to read books of all types. Currently, I'm working my way around the romance section, with some historical fiction and graphic novels thrown in for variety! But you never know what I'm going to pick up next.
