Food For Fines Still Going

Do you have overdue fines? There’s still time to participate in Eckhart Public Library’s Food for Fines program!

This annual program runs for the entire month of December, and it’s a great way to pay your fines while helping local people in need. At the end of the month the Eckhart Public Library donates all of the received goods to a local food pantry to help those in need. To participate, bring nonperishable food items to the Circulation Desk at Eckhart Public Library and your overdue fees will be waived. However much you bring is up to you.

Only overdue fines are eligible for the Food For Fines program. Other fees such as postage, charges for lost items, and processing charges are not eligible.

If you have any questions, please call the Circulation Desk at 260-925-2414 ext. 220. Need a refresher on the
