NaNoWriMo is just around the corner, but it’s not too late! You can still plot along the way while you write. And the Eckhart Public Library is around to help. We’ve got some great books on writing and we still have our Come Write In events happening every Monday in November.
The Write Ins will run from 5:30 P.M. until 7:45 P.M., but don’t worry if you can’t be with us for the whole meeting or even every meeting. We’ll be glad to welcome you in either way.
We’re planning on having a basket of inspiration and some hot beverages like coffee and tea. If you’d prefer to bring your own the only thing we ask is that you have a lid on your container.
The Eckhart Public Library does have laptops available for use in the building and we have open Wi-Fi you’re more than welcome to use.
Thinking about participating in NaNoWriMo, but not quite sure? Have questions about what NaNoWriMo is or how people stay on top of their word counts? Maybe how to balance work, home, and writing? NaNoWriMo’s about page has a lot of great information on it and their Frequently Asked Questions page does as well. Sometimes it’s also nice to talk with other people. You’re welcome to come and ask questions.
Heather: I’ve done NaNoWriMo since 2010 and if you’re not used to something like it it can be a big challenge, but it can also be an amazing experience. Every year I learn something new and every year it seems I have more and more fun. If you’d like to speak with someone before November 1st contact the library and ask for Heather. If I’m not around at that exact moment leave a message and I will contact you as soon as I can.
