Eckhart Superhero Costume Contest: July 11, at 3 PM

al

As part of the Eckhart Summer Read Grand Finale, the library is holding a superhero costume contest for people of all ages!   Children, teens, and adults can dress up as their favorite heroes.  This includes popular superheroes, historical heroes, and original superheroes; use your imaginations!  Costumes do not need to be completely homemade, but they will be judged on creativity, workmanship, and authenticity.

Participants will be in categories based on age: children (5 years old-5th grade), teens (6th-12th grade), and adult (18 years old and up).  Winners will be featured in character on an Eckhart Read poster and bookmarks.

To participate: Be at the Eckhart Summer Read Grand Finale in your costume on Saturday, July 11, by 2:30 PM.  The contest will begin promptly at 3 PM.  Participants must fill out a registration form; those under 18 years of age will a need written permission from a parent or guardian.  Registration forms can be found at the main library and teen library, or they can be printed by clicking here: Eckhart Summer Read Costume Contest.
