Friends Holding Book Sale May 13-15

Friends of the Eckhart Public Library

The Friends of the Eckhart Public Library will hold a book sale May 13-15 at the Willennar Administrative Annex, across Twelfth Street from the Main Library.

The Friends of the Library Book Sale  is a great way to support the library. The money raised at the book sale goes to the Friends, a nonprofit organization that sponsors a variety of activities, programs, and other initiatives at Eckhart Public Library!

Wednesday, May 13, the book sale is open from 4-8 p.m. for Friends members only. But don’t worry if you’re not a Friend yet! You can become a Friend anytime – just stop in at any Eckhart Public Library campus location, or become a Friend at the door of the book sale. Memberships start at just $10. It’s a bargain!

Thursday, May 14, the book sale is open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Stop in anytime and check out all the great books for sale.

Friday, May 15, though, is the best day for deal-lovers. From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., the book sale is open and it’s $1 BAG DAY! The Friends provide a plastic bag, and you fill it up with books. Then, you pay just $1 for the whole thing!

If you’re out of town or not much for used books, you can still support the Friends another way: through Amazon Smile! Instead of shopping through Amazon, type in and choose Friends of Eckhart Public Library, Inc., as your charity. Then, for everything you buy, a portion of the purchase goes toward the Friends! It works with all Amazon accounts, including Amazon Prime memberships!

About Jenny

I am the Associate Director of Eckhart Public Library. My office is in the Administrative Annex, but I can often be found roaming the Eckhart Public Library Campus, performing acts of librarianship in every department! I love to read and learn about history. I'm also a huge fan of movies, TV and pop culture in general, and I love to read books of all types. Currently, I'm working my way around the romance section, with some historical fiction and graphic novels thrown in for variety! But you never know what I'm going to pick up next.
