Library to Attend Career Development Expo March 12

terc-web Attention job seekers: Eckhart Public Library will be participating in the Career Development Expo, Thursday, March 12, from 12-4 PM at the ACD Automobile Museum in Auburn.  According to the expo’s sponsors, interested participants can “learn about current and upcoming job opportunities in manufacturing, healthcare, finance, skilled trades, and more.”  Additionally, a series of panels is schedules to help job seekers fine-tune interview techniques and resume writing. Eckhart Public Library will be among the exhibitors demonstrating library databases that can help patrons in their job and college search with resume development, research skills, and career-specific practice tests.  Stop by and see us! If you can’t make it but would like to learn more about the databases we offer, click here and here.  You need a library card or computer use card number to access many of these databases.  Please ask a staff member for more information about obtaining a library card, a computer use only card, or accessing databases. The Career Development Expo is presented by the DeKalb Chamber Partnership, DeKalb County Economic Development Partnership, WorkOne Northeast, Freedom Academy, Learning Link DeKalb County, and DeKalb Molded Plastics.
