Girls in fourth through sixth grades are invited to attend a class about taking care of themselves at Eckhart Public Library!

Taking Care of Yourself will be offered on Saturday, February 28, from 10:30 a.m. to noon in the Close Community Room.

Girls who attend will learn from a pediatric nurse practitioner to take care of their hair, skin, and more. The class will also include a craft, game, and refreshments.

Registration for the class is free and open to all girls in fourth through sixth grades, regardless of whether they have a library card from Eckhart Public Library. However, space is limited! Register by Thursday, February 26, by visiting the Children’s Department or Teen Library on the Eckhart Public Library Campus, or by calling Eckhart Public Library Children’s Department at 925-2414 ext. 320 or the Teen Library at extension 620.

About Jenny

I am the Associate Director of Eckhart Public Library. My office is in the Administrative Annex, but I can often be found roaming the Eckhart Public Library Campus, performing acts of librarianship in every department! I love to read and learn about history. I'm also a huge fan of movies, TV and pop culture in general, and I love to read books of all types. Currently, I'm working my way around the romance section, with some historical fiction and graphic novels thrown in for variety! But you never know what I'm going to pick up next.
