Cookies & Cocoa Presentation: Rolly Muhn

Eckhart Rolly Muhn (2)

The week before Christmas, Willennar Genealogy Center: A Service of Eckhart Public Library will be giving a presentation on Auburn’s very own Santa Claus, Rolly Muhn.

Attendees will hear the inpirational story of Rolly Muhn, as told by Interim Associate Director Jenny Kobiela-Mondor. Cookies and hot cocoa will be served.

The event will be held in the Learning Lab at Willennar Genealogy Center on December 17, and will run from 6-7:30 p. m.

Auburn native Rolly Muhn was well-known locally as Santa Claus, and spent many years helping St. Vincent Villa Orphans Home at Christmastime, providing presents and treats for the children who lived there.

Registration is requested but not required. However, space is limited. To register for the event, please call 925-2414 ext. 420 or visit

About Jenny

I am the Associate Director of Eckhart Public Library. My office is in the Administrative Annex, but I can often be found roaming the Eckhart Public Library Campus, performing acts of librarianship in every department! I love to read and learn about history. I'm also a huge fan of movies, TV and pop culture in general, and I love to read books of all types. Currently, I'm working my way around the romance section, with some historical fiction and graphic novels thrown in for variety! But you never know what I'm going to pick up next.
