Concert in Library Park Featuring Auburn Community Band

Celebrate the end of summer with a concert in Library Park!

The Auburn Community Band will perform a free concert in Library Park on Thursday, August 21, from 6:30-7:30 p.m. Bring your lawn chairs or a blanket and hang out on the lawn, listening to some great music. Arrive early to check out some materials and look at the art exhibit currently on display at the main library: “Margaret Kessler: 40 Years in the Arts.” (Click here to read more about the exhibit.)

The Auburn Community Band features talented musicians of all ages from all around the area. The band has been around since 1982, and is a staple of the Auburn community. You can read more about the band by clicking here.

About Jenny

I am the Associate Director of Eckhart Public Library. My office is in the Administrative Annex, but I can often be found roaming the Eckhart Public Library Campus, performing acts of librarianship in every department! I love to read and learn about history. I'm also a huge fan of movies, TV and pop culture in general, and I love to read books of all types. Currently, I'm working my way around the romance section, with some historical fiction and graphic novels thrown in for variety! But you never know what I'm going to pick up next.
