Oh this is such a tough choice for me! Most of my very favorites are already listed. It is not Christmas in my family until we see A Christmas Story and National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation. For fans of Christmas Vacation, be alert! There is an RV driving around Fort Wayne that is painted to look just like Cousin Eddie’s. Two years ago my sister and I got my dad a full sized leg lamp for Christmas, and it’s pretty amazing. We realized about a half an hour after the gift was open that our grandparents had never seen the movie and had no idea why we would be giving our dad a giant leg-shaped lamp in a fishnet stocking. It made for a pretty special Christmas!
But for my personal favorites I have to go with the Muppet Christmas Carol and It’s a Wonderful Life. The Muppet Christmas Carol has been my all-time favorite since I was eight years old, and I just never get enough of it. Dickens and Muppets are a match made of snark, charm, hilarity, and sentiment.
